ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Stacy Stevens and I am the School Guidance Counselor for 6th grade and 5th grade students in Mrs. Freund and Mrs. Bradbury's classroom. I graduated from Union College in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and soon after earned my Masters degree from Boston University. I began teaching in Boston before moving to Maine where I worked in special education, family social work, and most recently as a school counselor at Bonny Eagle High School. I am very excited to be at Westbrook Middle School and feel lucky to be in a community with so much pride and investment in education. I always knew I wanted to work in the field of education and after majoring in psychology during my undergrad, it was easy to see that school counseling was perfect for me. My goal is work with ALL of my students in the areas of personal/social development, academic skills, and career exploration. My door is always open, not just to my students, but to their families as well. I am open to any and all questions you may have and look forward to supporting students through the journey that is middle school. Please feel free to contact me by phone (207) 854-0830 or by email [email protected] |
